Fall Hockey 2026/2027 Season
Information
Before registering for the upcoming Minooka Hockey season, you must first complete your USA Hockey Membership Registration for the 2026-2027 season. You will need your current USA Hockey Membership Number to complete your Minooka Hockey registration.
USA Hockey Member Registration
Important: All players born in 2009 or earlier must complete the USA Hockey SafeSport Training Course to be eligible for rostering after tryouts.
Please note that USA Hockey will not permit a player to be rostered on a fall team until SafeSport training has been successfully completed. We encourage all eligible players to complete the training as soon as possible to avoid any delays in rostering.
Grade Requirements
Freshman through Senior Year is eligible
Practices
Teams will be on the ice twice per week, every Tuesday and Thursday, throughout the season. Additional ice sessions may be scheduled during the season as ice availability and team needs allow.
When
Practices to begin shortly after tryouts. Schedule to be announced soon.
Where
Practices to be held at Canlan Ice in Romeoville.
Games
The team is expected to play 40+ games during the season. Most games will be scheduled on weekends; however, some games may be played on weeknights.
In addition, the team is expected to participate in 2-3 tournaments throughout the season, with the possibility of one out-of-town tournament.
Uniforms
Included for:
New Players will receive:
- 3 game jerseys
- 3 pairs of hockey socks
- 2 hockey pant shells
- 1 team T-shirt
- 1 team hockey bag
Returning Players will receive:
- 1 alternate jersey
- 3 new pairs of hockey socks
- 1 hockey pant shell
- 1 team T-shirt
Equipment Requirements
All players are required to have a black helmet that is dedicated to Minooka Hockey, as team logos and decals will be applied to the helmet.
Players are also required to wear black hockey gloves. Gloves may include white, gray, or orange accents in addition to black.

Costs
The season fee is $4,975 for skaters and $2,750 for goalies.
Families may choose to pay in full at registration or enroll in a payment plan.
Payment Plan Details:
- Skaters: $505 due at registration
- Goalies: $500 due at registration
- The remaining balance will be divided into six equal monthly payments
- Payments will be automatically processed on the 15th of each month, beginning September 15 and ending February 15
